Initial Setup

This describes the process for using multi-sig wallets in N Suite.

1) Register a multi-sig wallet Create a team

2) Create addresses to be used for signing the multi-sig wallet (for User Signer Group + Backup Signer Group)

You will need an AWS KMS private key or a hardware wallet .

3) Add the address created in step 2 to the team.

*Please make sure that you register the address to the same team as the team to which you are registering the multi-sig wallet.

4) Download the multisig initial setup sheet and fill in the required information.

* You can specify an unlimited number of addresses to be registered in the User Signer Group and the Backup Signer Group, so in that case please add more lines for each and submit them.

From a security standpoint, we recommend that you register addresses in the Backup Signer Group that are either hardware wallets or addresses managed in a different AWS KMS account.

5) Once you have completed filling out the form, save it and send it to the N Suite operations team.

Please send your request via email to contact@nsuite.io as an attachment.

6) The N Suite team will notify you that the setup is complete and provide you with the multi-sig wallet address.

We can usually provide you with the address within 1-2 business days.
